"Customer Support Experience"
In my opinion, a company's true colors show when they handle problems. I misplaced a few screws from the back of the Ellie plate, so I reached out to 3 Legged Thing to inquire about purchasing replacements. Neil was super helpful and shipped me some spare screws on Friday afternoon, which I got by Saturday morning. Absolutely top-notch service; I can't praise them enough!

"Awesome Camera Bag and Fantastic Support!"
I either lost or never received the strap that comes with the Toxic Wraith camera bag. Neil was quick to send me a replacement to my hotel while I was in London...but when Royal Mail messed that up, he shipped one to me in the US. Talk about amazing service! Now, regarding the bag itself, it’s the most practical camera bag I’ve ever had, and I’ve collected about a dozen over the years. I easily packed my new Canon R7 with kit lens in the side pouch, my Canon 5D Mark IV with the 16-35mm attached, a 15" laptop, 6 batteries, chargers for both, and a bunch of cords, and there was a spot for everything. The travel strap worked perfectly to secure it over the handle of my carry-on, just like it was meant to. Such a great little bag! I also have a 3 Legged Thing tripod, which is how I discovered the Toxic Wraith bag.

"Amazing tripods and top-notch customer service"
Amazing tripods and top-notch customer service. I own a Carbon Albert that’s been lightly used over a couple of years, and it’s been a joy every time I pull it out.
Recently, the hinges on the legs started to feel a bit loose, so I reached out to 3LT support for some guidance. They suggested I send it in for a check-up.
(Just my two cents – while it was being serviced (which took less than a week), I borrowed a buddy’s tripod for a daily project I was working on, and it just didn’t measure up.)
Neil from 3LT took a look and figured that something wasn’t responding to his usual maintenance, couldn’t be repaired, and offered me a replacement instead.
The new tripod showed up, complete with the classic 3LT bag of Haribo, and my beloved old ballhead on top, which has been working perfectly since.
Oh, and it also came with a new zippered carry-case, which is a big upgrade from the old soft one. Now I can easily slide the tripod in and out without taking it off my shoulder, and the outside pocket is handy for holding the strap when I don’t need it.
As a side note – when it arrived, every screw thread on the new tripod was set to loose – legs, column, everything – even the D-ring at the bottom of the center column, which I lost in the dark almost immediately.
So, I asked Neil if he still had my old tripod lying around and if he could send me my old D-ring – and he sent me a brand new one! Plus, another little bag of Haribo.

"Fantastic Product with Incredible Customer Service!"
To start off, this product is just fantastic. I've traveled nearly everywhere with their tripod (named Albert), facing all sorts of weather from the summer heat to the chill of winter near the Arctic Circle, and even the summer sun in Africa. It collapses nicely for travel and handles my SLR and long lenses like a champ.
Not long ago, I took a tumble on some ice at Crater Lake NP. The tripod was tucked away in my backpack and absorbed most of the fall when I hit the pavement in the parking area. Unfortunately, the metal screw on the top clamp broke off. I reached out to customer support, and even though my clamp was no longer in production, they offered to send me a newer model at no cost. I even offered to pay, but they wouldn’t hear of it.
The new part arrived quickly, was a breeze to install, and works like a dream. Neil was a pleasure to deal with, and the company is truly impressive. It’s rare to find such top-notch support these days.

"Fantastic Support from Customer Service!"
I purchased an 'open box' L bracket from Three Legged Thing, and it showed up way ahead of the expected delivery time. Upon inspection, I noticed a screw was missing. I called Customer Services and chatted with a really nice guy who sent a replacement right away, and it arrived by 10am the following morning. Stuff happens, but it’s how you handle it that really matters! Plus, there was a little bag of Haribo sweets included in the package! I know exactly where to go for my next tripod replacement! 10/10

"Unsatisfactory Product and Customer Support"
I bought an airhed pro ball head for some heavy gear weighing up to 23kg, since the head was supposed to handle 40kg.
Unfortunately, the friction control is practically non-existent, making it either too tight or way too loose. Their customer support confirmed this was how it was designed, which isn’t much help when you’re dealing with heavy loads.
I was told I could return it and was advised to get an Air Hed Cine head instead (thanks, Neil from 3LT)... but that one only supports a max load of 10 kg, so it won’t work for me.
In conclusion, this product is lacking, and the customer service isn’t effective. I’ll take my business elsewhere and stick with FLM products; it’s a bummer, as I really wanted to back a British brand.

I got myself a JAY tripod and it showed up in no time. After testing it with my camera gear, I realized I needed something sturdier, so I asked to swap it for a NICKY tripod. The customer support was handled excellently, and I really want to give a shoutout to Megan and Neil for their quick, positive replies and smooth processing of my return. Keep it up, folks!

The products from 3 Legged Thing are fantastic, but let me tell you, their customer support is top-notch! I ran into a few problems with the bolts on my Nicky getting loose, and Neil from their support team has handled my questions swiftly and professionally each time. I usually don’t write reviews since I anticipate a decent level of service with high-end products, but my experiences have exceeded my already high expectations - I’d even say they’ve earned a lifelong customer!

"Traditional Values from a British Company"
I called on Thursday around 4:30 PM. I was in a bit of a bind needing a screw for my 3 Legged Thing Ellie-G Universal L-Bracket since I was heading out the following Monday. To my surprise, two screws showed up on Friday, and they even tossed in a free packet of sweets! Good luck finding that kind of service from Amazon or any seller in China.
"Tremendous Tripod with Three Legs!"
I picked up a "Brian" back in January 2019, and as I type this, it's now March 2022. The tripod had a leg catch issue, likely from when I took a spill on my bike. I dealt with that for way too long and finally reached out to them for a replacement part. Turns out, that specific part isn’t sold separately. They said I’d need to swap out the entire upper canopy. I was bracing myself for a hefty bill, but customer service, without me having to say a word, sorted it out so I could get it at no cost. Now that’s what I call going the extra mile! This tripod has been a champ for three years, and I reckon it’ll keep going strong for many more—unless I take another tumble on my bike.

"No need to stress. This company offers top-notch products and excellent customer service."
I've got a handful of items from 3LT and I've always been super satisfied with them. After a couple of years, I ran into an issue with my reliable tripod that's traveled everywhere with me. It's been through the ocean, sand, muddy rivers, up mountains, and even frozen solid. Honestly, I was blown away by how fast and generous the customer support was. I can't recommend Three Legged Thing enough. Other companies should take notes from them. I hardly ever write reviews, but this one deserves 10 stars.

Super friendly folks to work with.
Over the years, I've picked up camera tripods and brackets from these guys, and I've really enjoyed their stuff.
Their website is totally upfront about customer service as well. From my experience, they go above and beyond, and the time it takes to get from my first question to a resolution is quick.
Big shoutout to Neil at 3LT for handling customer support. He’s assisted me a few times, and every time, the communication has been quick and polite.
Their selection of products keeps getting better, which is great for us customers, and the design of their items is top-notch. Plus, they’re a British company operating out of what they affectionately call their 'chicken shed,' and they take pride in that.
